Primarily responsible for problem solving and business improvement activities within the IT Department, specifically:
Areas of Responsibility:
- Assists the Director of Integration Management in designing and executing a comprehensive strategic communication roadmap for effectively communicating organizational strategy, programs, thought-leadership and operational effectiveness. This includes detailing short- and long-term technology goals, deliverables, insights and performance metrics.
- Develop and implement internal and external IT communication strategy that includes inspirational narratives and consistency.
- Develop and execute, change management and organizational effectiveness strategies and initiatives to enable the IT organization to deliver on key objectives.
- Works in partnership with IT colleagues to develop communication strategies for technology initiatives (aligning top down and bottoms up action planning efforts) to enhance brand.
- Influences management and colleagues at all levels to increase organizational alignment and improve awareness of key messages and technology implementations. Develop and maintain content repository.
- Works as an internal consultant to identify and articulate business strategy, develop key messaging and recommend courses of action. This includes partnering with stakeholders to understand all aspects of a situation and the pros and cons of alternative approaches.
- Prepares and reviews executive-level reports, presentations, memos and a wide range of content relating to technology and business acumen and achievements.
- Stays abreast of new communication methods and channels to aide in the work of the department.
- Writing, proofreading, editing, publishing and other duties as assigned in support of team objectives.
- Bachelor's Degree or MBA and 7+ years’ experience in a discipline such as Corporate Communications, Journalism, Information Systems or Business, Organizational Development preferred.
- Extensive Corporate Communication Management experience including a successful track record of delivering successful communication and change management plans.
- Strong writing, proofreading and publishing skills, especially for the executive audience.
- Experience crafting non-technical language from technical subject matter. Able to coordinate with the author or technical subject matter expert to develop simple communications that is not too complex for the lay reader.
- Strong analytical, communication and strategic thinking skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional, matrix project team toward common goals and strategic objectives while fostering strong relationships with all stakeholders.
- Results oriented, high performer able to work in an environment of change and uncertainty with sound judgment under pressure.
- Demonstrated ability to be flexible and take a team-oriented approach; willing to proactively assist departmental colleagues. Willing to do whatever tasks are required.

Educational Background:
