Senior Advisor, Curriculum Strategy and Innovation

Coordinates curriculum strategy and solutions to ensure portfolio of work is innovative and relevant with consumers 50-64.  Understands the needs of the target audience and leverages research, data, and other consumer insights to lead design discoveries and solve business challenges.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Sets strategy and manages cadence, alignment of all deliverables, in coordination with leadership, and marketing.  Includes in-person classroom workshops, online experiences, DIY assets, etc. 
  • Leads relationship manager.  Aligns stakeholder expectations with strategy.
  • Designs the messaging structure to articulate desired outcomes and consistent tone.  Ensures that work integrates with portfolio and expectations. 
  • Develops planning and reviews evaluative data to ensure an appropriate reinvestment in long-form experiences and effective blends with short-form experiences.
  • Oversees quality assurance of portfolio.  
  • Understands online learner behavior and helps inform overall curricula development efforts.
  • Utilizes strong communication skills and attention-to-detail to distill complex subjects into inviting, accurate, and accessible educational experiences.
  • Sets the appropriate tone and planning for a project.  Operates with a sense of urgency.
  • Influences change through inspirational design, solid rationale, supporting data, and diplomacy.
  • Anticipates bottlenecks, manages escalation of needs, operates effectively in ambiguous situations, and makes tradeoffs to balance business wants and creative constraints.
Educational Background: 
Completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Journalism, Design, or a related field
Skills/Experience: 
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience in positions where coordination, networking, information sharing, and/or marketing were central to the job.
  • Demonstrated experience in program or project management.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communications, and written skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, sustain, and nurture strong, productive working relationships internally and externally.  
  • Integration focus, including an understanding of marketing tools and projected outcomes.
