The Program and Financial Analyst leads multiple tasks for monthly financial close, quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting planning tasks supporting the Financial Advisor.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Designs, develops, and communicates business analytics that provide insight into the program’s operational performance, including tracking, forecasting, analyzing, and reporting in support of marketing and program enhancements. 
  • Assists in the analysis needed for the development of strategic plans for future program enhancements including course enhancements, new product development, volunteer acquisition/retention, and expansion of external relationships. 
  • Responsible for monitoring and providing analytics regarding the 53 state/territory jurisdictions for law changes which impact classroom and online course approvals, updating 53 state-specific traffic laws supplements for course curriculum, and data uploads to state agencies and state course mandates.
  • Assists in the development and maintains all Driver Safety reports; (including but not limited to: dashboard, budget, inventory, history and baseline reports, classroom/online, etc.), analysis, and recommendations to guide decision-making at the strategic and tactical level for Marketing, Partnership Development, Operations and the Program’s group.
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting, and 3+ years of experience in financial roles.
Skills/Experience: 
  • Knowledge of business management, finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems.
  • Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections. Working knowledge of short and long term budgeting and forecasting, rolling budgets, and product-line profitability analysis.
  • Ability to analyze state regulations to determine if changes have impact on program.
  • Experience with developing financial and operational models to support business planning, key strategic activity, and major business initiatives.
  • Comfort level with utilizing financial applications to enhance and automate reporting and analysis.
  • Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects. Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.
  • Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.
