NPR Music-DC Video Intern- Winter/Spring 2019

This Washington D.C. internship will require occasional late nights/odd hours and travel (transportation/lodging/travel expenses will be supplied).

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Assisting in production of videos for NPR Music's Tiny Desk Concerts and Jazz Night In America series.
  • Post-production of video, including pulling clips, topping & tailing, editing, encoding, and publishing to web.
  • Managing archive, keeping an organized system of backing up media.
  • Researching production solutions as we modify our workflow and grow our video capabilities.
Skills/Experience: 
  • Proficiency shooting video with DSLRs and/or C100s (Cameras and gear will be supplied)
  • Expertise with Adobe Premiere (Computer and software will be supplied)
  • Aptitude in storytelling through editing
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, technologically savvy
  • Ability to follow directions precisely and handle multiple tasks
  • Ability to climb stairs and lift 60 lbs.
  • Being generally awesome and able to work well with awesome people
