This Washington D.C. internship will require occasional late nights/odd hours and travel (transportation/lodging/travel expenses will be supplied).
Areas of Responsibility:
- Assisting in production of videos for NPR Music's Tiny Desk Concerts and Jazz Night In America series.
- Post-production of video, including pulling clips, topping & tailing, editing, encoding, and publishing to web.
- Managing archive, keeping an organized system of backing up media.
- Researching production solutions as we modify our workflow and grow our video capabilities.
Skills/Experience:
- Proficiency shooting video with DSLRs and/or C100s (Cameras and gear will be supplied)
- Expertise with Adobe Premiere (Computer and software will be supplied)
- Aptitude in storytelling through editing
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, technologically savvy
- Ability to follow directions precisely and handle multiple tasks
- Ability to climb stairs and lift 60 lbs.
- Being generally awesome and able to work well with awesome people
