We are seeking a seasoned (8+ years) Marketing Services Manager to oversee the current and ongoing improvement of marketing services for our healthcare and financial services verticals. Proven ability to successfully manage multiple (internal and external) stakeholders and providers.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Lead the day to day management and execution of portions of the integrated marketing strategy for ASI’s consumer marketing program, promoting 3rd-party, commercial benefits available to AARP members.
- Play a contributing role in the development of marketing strategies and ensure all execution meets timelines and deliverables.
- Partner with internal business units, channel owners and outside agencies and other vendors to develop and launch creative tactics that support campaign strategy: develop briefs, creative components, facilitate review and production for offline and online channels
- Collaborate with internal business units, agencies and external clients to operationalize new marketing programs and processes.
- Engage with and communicate program updates and priorities to key stakeholders.
- Assist in the development of marketing program/project specific test and measurement plans.
- Develop timelines to meet project commitments and ensure deliverables from across the organization and external partners are met on time.
- Work with Director and other strategic partners from across departments to measure and report on program results, perform research and deliver findings, understand and leverage segmentation data, etc.
- Responsible for the development and distribution of annual strategic and tactical marketing plans.
- Assist in the development of program budgets and manage appropriately.
- Work collaboratively to find solutions to day-to-day issues/problems.
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in related field
Skills/Experience:
- 8+ years marketing experience, with an emphasis on integrated, direct response and digital marketing strategy execution. Prior successful experience with integrated marketing or direct marketing execution within matrix environment.
- Experience working in highly regulated industries including healthcare insurance and financial services preferred.
- Proficient in understanding multiple facets of core marketing areas: digital, print, direct mail, broadcast, earned media, brand, and operations. Direct experience managing digital ad buys, social media engagement, and/or media relations a plus.
- Excellent oral/written presentation skills; proficiency in preparation and presentation of proposals, analytical reports and documents regarding programs’ operational status, achievement and performance.
- Demonstrated efficient vendor and budget management.
- Manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment and have sound business judgment in project prioritization.
- Can work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to effectively work with people, to gain internal respect and build consensus with superiors, peers, and subordinates.
- Flexibility with adapting to changing work environments and priorities.
- Agency experience a plus.
