Provides internal HR clients with a full range of human resources services to include recruiting and employment, onboarding, employee relations, compensation, employment policies and practices, career development, staff diversity and employment law issues.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Recruitment and Retention: Works with hiring managers to facilitate the employment process involving staffing requirements for open positions. Manages the employment process including recruiting, temporary staffing, new employee on-boarding, transfers, promotion, compensation negotiations and off-boarding. Manages the administrative details associated with employee relocation and temporary staffing. (40%)
  • Employee Relations:Provides counsel, service and support to managers and employees with a focus on assuring positive interpersonal and professional relationships. Handles employee relations issues with hands-on responsibility for investigations, analysis, documentation, and providing recommendations and resolutions; works closely with Director of HR and legal counsel to address employee relations/development issues; advises on interpretation/application of Human Resources policies for managers and employees. (30%)
  • Program Management: Take the lead on HR initiatives to include: onboarding; career development programs, diversity campaigns, recruitment initiatives, workday updates (job profiles) and special projects as needed. (15%)
  • Responds to compensation inquiries from management and employees and works with HR management to determine resolution.Compile and analyze compensation queries/reports for management review.Makes recommendations on changes and keeps abreast of best practices and marketplace trends and advises management of same. (15%)
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required.
Skills/Experience: 
  • 5+ years of progressively successful experience in Human Resources, preferably as a Generalist.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communications, employment law, employee relations, benefits, training and development and PC skills (HRMS/Workday and MS Office).
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining confidentiality and following policy and procedure.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to successfully work within a highly collaborative team environment is essential.
