This position is responsible for providing administrative direction, implementation, supervision and quality assurance for the IFPS Program staff for the prevention of out of home placement. IFPS services include care coordination, clinical services, and linage to community resources. Serve as a liaison between YMCA-Youth and Family Services Branch, county contract monitor, referral sources, and providers. Coordinate the data collection systems and all requirements for contract compliance.
- The essential duties and responsibilities of the position entail overseeing all aspects of the Interagency Family Preservation Service (IFPS) program, including supervising direct service Case Workers and providing clinical and administrative oversight.
- The director will provide expertise on the provision of appropriate in-home clinical services to families, especially related to mental health and case management, with the goal of preserving the family unit and increasing family self-sufficiency.
- The director will ensure program fidelity to wraparound and IFPS models.
- The Director will manage and provide oversight of client records, databases, statistical outcomes, contracts, and agency compliance with required regulations.
- The director will oversee quality assurance and ensure that documentation is completed in a timely manner as well as generate required reports, narratives, and outcome evaluations. Moreover, the director will monitor, approve, and process expenses to meet the budget.
- The director will maintain good relationships with referral sources, conduct outreach throughout Montgomery County, and consult with outside providers when necessary.
- The Director will be available 24/7 to provide support to all Case Worker.
- Clinical license must be in good standing with the respective licensing board and must have completed required CEUs and training appropriate to the practice of clinical supervision, licensed as a LCSW-C in the State of Maryland, with two years’ post-licensure experience required, Maryland board-approved Social Work Supervisor preferred, Must be able to pass Certified Child Welfare Academy’s Pre-Service Competency training (completed at the start of employment),
- Must work toward achieving YMCA of the USA Leadership Competency Certification:
- Multi-Team Leader, CPR/First aid/OSHA certifications (may complete during employment),
- Five to seven years experience working in community mental health settings serving children and families highly preferred.
Salary: $75,000.00
