The position supervises a team of entry and mid-level accounting professionals. Overseeing all accounting operations, including accounts receivable/billing, collections, payroll, accounts payable, financial reporting and analysis, policy and procedures, and GAAP.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Overseeing all accounting operations, including accounts receivable/billing, collections, payroll, accounts payable, financial reporting and analysis, policy and procedures, and GAAP
  • Prepares lead schedules for external auditors to ensure timely, compliant annual audit to include A-133 audit
  • Ensures effective internal controls both in the accounting office and in the field business offices
  • Leads the month end closing process
  • Provides exemplary customer service to internal customers and works collaboratively to meet their operating goals
  • Monitors branch business services activities to include cash processing, accounts receivable, semimonthly electronic funds processing and revenue posting to insure compliance with internal controls
  • Facilitates state and federal grant reporting
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Accounting
Skills/Experience: 
  • CPA or CPA Candidate
  • 7+ years of progressive financial management and managerial experience
  • Thorough knowledge of GAAP
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Hands on professional with strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Able to work flexible schedule to include some nights and weekends
  • Experience supervising accounting staff
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, specifically Excel
  • Experience with Proprietary software (i.e. Great Plains, SGA, Protivity)
Compensation/Benefits: 

Salary; $90,000.00 - $110,000.00
