We are looking for a leader to maintain and improve all technological aspects of the organization. The CIO serves on the President’s Senior Leadership Team and is a key contributor to the overall achievement of the organization’s strategic plan.
- Establishes the Association’s technical vision and leads all aspects of the Association’s technological development
- Provides secure and reliable infrastructure for the Association.
- Presides over all IT projects across the Association.
- Directs all employees in IT department to build capacity for technology to support the Y’s mission.
- Ensures that all systems necessary to Association operations and objectives are in place.
- Designs and customizes technological systems and platforms to improve customer experience
- Works in a consultative fashion across the Association as an advisor of technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Works with Senior Leadership Team to create a Best Place to Work.
- Provides leadership to department in a fashion that supports the Y’s culture, mission and values.
- Manages the day-to-day operations of the information technology department including directing staff, who support administrative computing, networking, user services, telecommunications and other information technology functions.
- 10 or more years relevant experience in a senior level IT role
- Analytical and critical thinking skills; must be flexible and able to multi-task
- Strong understanding of IT platforms and emerging technologies
- Experience with Great Plains, SQL, CRM software and Linux Operating Systems
- Experience with Property & Facilities Security Systems, Fitness Equipment, VoIP Telephone Systems, Audio and Video Services.
- Experience with Office 365, Website Development and integration with CRM Database, e.g. Salesforce
- Experience with Enterprise Database Maintenance and Upgrade
- Strong and dynamic management/leadership skills
- High customer service orientation
- Ability to actively communicate, inspire and motivate all levels of staff.
- Ability to think and act strategically and proactively.
- Excellent knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure
- Background in designing/developing IT systems and planning IT implementation
- Solid understanding of data analysis, budgeting and business operations
