Reporting to the Brand Operations Director, the Brand Operations Analyst is responsible for: negotiating and processing all contracts related to Brand, Social Media and Events work; executing paid media buys for the organization; coordinating and creating regular business operations reports for Brand leadership; and developing and implementing operational and business process improvements that help to achieve Brand’s strategic objectives. The position will serve as Brand’s liaison to A/P and Procurement, responsible for purchase order requisitions, supporting documentation and invoice coding and submission. Adherence to all AARP policies and procedures in accordance with working with outside vendors is paramount. Documentation of key deliverables, change orders, and progress tracking is mandatory in this detail-oriented position.
- The position interacts a great deal with internal groups such as Procurement, A/P, and fellow Brand colleagues.
- Effectively manage high volumes of contracts, adherence to contract terms, and processing of invoice payments with a multitude of vendors.
- Manage multiple internal clients with varying deadlines and consistently model AARP’s customer experience principles.
- Adherence to AARP's policies regarding management of outside resources.
- Scrutiny on vendor deliverables against project to ensure fully defined scope of work.
- Run volume and productivity reports for Brand activity running through multiple workflow tools. Modify reports as needed to gather key business metrics, analyze data and prepare consumable reports for Brand leadership.
- Provide customer support and/or system troubleshooting as needed for Brand tools.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment to analyze and identify opportunities for business process improvement that lead to cost savings and more efficient operations.
- The role requires exceptional people skills and team collaboration to ensure group alignment and collective delivery of shared Brand goals.

- 3-5 years of experience in management of agreements with vendors, project management or business process improvement.
- Proven ability to quickly understand and interpret operational issues, accurately analyze information, identify key trends, prepare concise summaries, and to provide sound recommendations related to operational and contractual issues.
- Demonstrate an understanding of prioritization and management of multiple organizational projects.
- Possess very strong client service orientation and account management skills.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills (e.g. listening, negotiating, facilitating, managing conflict, flexibility, etc.).
- Proficient in Word and Excel, and ability to quickly learn internal processing/tracking systems.
- Demonstrated strong analytical, project management, critical thinking and leadership skills.
