Wounded Warrior Project’s (WWP) Warriors to Work (WtoW) Coordinator will contribute to the overall success of the WtoW program by providing administrative, programmatic, and project management support. The Warriors to Work Coordinator will serve as the first point of contact for new alumni and employers registering with WtoW, work closely with alumni to provide pertinent information to WtoW Specialist, maintain placement and retention data, provide logistical support for WtoW events and serve as an overall resource to a regional team.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Work with warriors and family support members to update, revise, and review resumes as needed
- Under the direction/supervision of the manager/specialist, assist in job placement and career counseling services
- Prioritize incoming calls and emails, vetting and responding to basic inquiries within a specified time frame
- Manage incoming queue of new alumni and employer registrations
- Provide administrative support for regional team, including but not limited to recording meeting minutes, supporting events and special projects
- Compile weekly, monthly and quarterly KPI progress reports
- Maintain records for employment outcomes per employer, industry, and other specified criteria
- Update warrior-facing regional communications through WWP online engagement
- Establish and maintain ongoing contact with alumni achieving employment outcomes
- Enhance alumni awareness of Economic Empowerment and enrollment into Warriors to Work through program collaboration
- Other related duties as assigned
Educational Background:
High School Diploma/GED required. Bachelor’s degree preferred

- Attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

- Resourceful, well organized, honest, reliable, dependable, efficient and consistent
- High level of proficiency in the use of data-base programs (Salesforce preferred), and Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Education & Experience Requirements
- One (1) year recruiting and/or employment assistance experience preferred
- One (1) year customer service experience required
- Familiarity with military culture preferred
- Salesforce experience preferred
