Summary Statement
Reporting to the VP Creative Strategy, the Senior Copywriter plays a critical role in conception of and executing high-level communications that get noticed, engage and deliver results for our clients
Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include:
- Ability to execute campaign-driven work in both traditional and digital tactics
- Ability to concept “big ideas” that can be executed across multiple tactics
- Ensure brand guidelines are followed and adhered to
- Accurately and effectively interpret client briefs and client feedback
- Participate and contribute to creative briefings, creative concept presentations to the Creative Director, to Account Service and to clients
- Develop and foster positive client relationships
- Produce meticulous copy and show great attention to detail
- Creative is a core competency for the newly formed agency.
- Position impacts critical Influent50 business priorities and objectives through their leadership of the development of all new creative execution.
- Interacts with all levels within ASI and Influent50 and presents to CMO, VP and Director level external clients.
- Requires high emotional intelligence to manage competing points for view and influence decisions that create positive outcomes.
- Must exercise sound independent judgment to achieve business results and meet client demands.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in English, marketing, advertising or other related field or equivalent experience
- 6+ years’ experience as advertising copywriter
- Strong presentation skills, both internal and external
- Must be comfortable using a MAC, be proficient in and possess a thorough knowledge of the following software applications: MS Word, PowerPoint, and Acrobat programs
- Experience with direct mail a plus
- Requires an individual who has built a solid portfolio, including campaign driven work executed in both traditional and digital tactics
- Ability to juggle multiple assignments simultaneously and gracefully
- Able to develop big ideas and be an active contributor to and leader of the creative process
- Strong understanding of budgets and the ability to work within budget parameters
- Detail oriented
- Understand and embrace a collaborative environment
