Areas of Responsibility: 
  • We are looking for a cause driven and enthusiastic team player to join us in making a difference in the communities and the lives of youth we serve. The Interagency Family Preservation Service Director will provide administrative direction, implementation, supervision and quality assurance for the IFPS Program staff for the prevention of juvenile out of home placement. IFPS services include care coordination, clinical services and linage to community resources. The director will serves as a liaison between YMCA Youth & Family Services and county contract monitor, referral sources, and providers. Coordinate the data collection systems and all requirements for contract compliance.
Educational Background: 
Master's degree from an accredited college or university in relevant field e.g., Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling.
Skills/Experience: 
  • 3 – 5 years’ experience working with youth and parents in a multicultural community, with diverse populations, while collaborating with multiple agencies. The Director of IFPS program must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills and personal values consistent with the YMCA mission. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Must have the following designations

  • LCSW-C Maintains clinical license in good standing in Maryland with the respective licensing board with two years’ post licensure experience required.
  • Must be able to pass Certified Child Welfare Academy's Pre-Service Competency training (completed at the start of employment)
Compensation/Benefits: 

Salary: $60,000.00
