Areas of Responsibility: 

As an Event Planning Intern, you will play a role in many of the events we are planning and/or executing. You will be assigned critical tasks and you will get to see your work in action before, during and after our events.

Your projects will span communications, brand management, marketing and operations and you will:

  • Conduct pre-event research, including competing events, venue selection, marketing options and participant profiles
  • Create event collateral
  • Promote events by developing and executing a social media strategy
  • Plan event logistics and schedules
  • Support events as a member of the on-site event team, which could include opportunities to travel and some evening and weekend work
  • Develop, conduct and analyze post-event evaluations
Educational Background: 
Are enrolled in an accredited college or university and have completed 2 full years of coursework prior to the start of the internship
Skills/Experience: 
  • Have a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Are proficient with social media and Microsoft Office applications
  • Exhibit strong organizational and, multi-tasking skills
