Job Description: The Teacher Assistant is part of the teaching team, providing support to teacher and students by helping to plan implement and conclude daily activities. Assist with bus monitoring duties as assigned. In addition, they provide general care and supervision of children, ensuring their safety.
Job Requirements: Child Development Associate Credential; state awarded equivalent; be enrolled in a program leading to an associate or baccalaureate degree; or be in a Child Development Associate credential program, to be completed within two (2) years. Current Infant/Child CPR and First Aid certifications and Food Handler’s Permit within 30-days of hire. One year experience working with young children in a classroom/childcare setting.
Base Range: $12.00—$14.14/ Hour Depending on Experience and Education
