The Y seeks a talented, organized professional to help advance the mission of the organization through the creation and delivery of clear and compelling communications. The ideal candidate should be an expert in the field of social media, experience in video production and photography, have the knowledge and direct experience in digital marketing and graphic design, and should be able to navigate Microsoft Windows programs with demonstrable experience in the Adobe Creative Suite and Windows Office products. Strong research skills are also important to understand evolving trends within the market and any leads which should be developed.
The ideal candidate is a natural communicator, articulate both in person and on paper. He/she will be painstaking about details and overseeing projects through from concept to completion.
- Responsible for implementing marketing strategies on all social media platforms
- Manage all social media outlets for the YMCA of Central Texas which includes creating social media content calendar, handling customer interactions, maintaining regular post/content, and forwarding any issues to the appropriate directors in a timely manner
- Responsible for managing the YMCA social App including updating
- Provides and maintains related statistics and reports
- Makes presentations within the YMCA and the community
- YMCA Team Leader certification preferred
- Expert in the field of social media
- Knowledge and direct experience in digital marketing and graphic design
- Previous professional experience in membership, marketing and/or sales preferred
- Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community, including the ability to make presentations
Salary: $30,000.00 - $35,000.00
