Project Manager, Pediatric Master Trial

The PedAL Project Manager is responsible for managing the LLS Pediatric Master Trial to successful and timely decision points from concept through trial completion. This role contributes to the definition of project strategy and guides the project core and sub teams to deliver on project objectives.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Accountable for all aspects of project management and works effectively and in partnership with LLS Project Leader.
  • Work with LLS Project Leader to establish and maintain functionally integrated project schedules to enable accurate project, financial and portfolio analyses and ensure accurate inputs are provided into business planning processes. Ensure alignment with project sub-teams and functional partners.
  • Oversee and prepare project team budget including resources and costs, collaborating with Finance and other cross-functional departments.
  • Develop RFPs and manage recruitment of contract research services provided by CRO-type organizations.
  • Communicate, document and archive project team activities and decisions. Act as a primary contact for project team related information.
  • Contributes to CRO selection activities and contract set-up, serves as primary contact with CRO PM and provides oversight of CRO, ensures communication between CRO, and Project Team.
  • Facilitate project team meetings, cross-functional communication and decision making, ensuring alignment with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify, recommend and implement opportunities for streamlining team and business processes.
  • Coordinate and contribute to the preparation of ad hoc, monthly and annual reports and development of project related briefings and presentations.
Educational Background: 
Bachelor's degree in the Life Sciences or relevant work experience after Bachelor’s degree. Advanced degree is desired.
Skills/Experience: 
  • Minimum 4 years of multi-disciplinary experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry.
  • Prior direct project management experience in drug development with knowledge of the overall drug development process.
  • Experience with regulatory submissions and interactions. Global experience a plus.
  • Experience using Project Management software to manage complex project timelines and resources.
