In partnership with the Senior Managing Director, DEI Strategy you play a pivotal role in driving the execution and effective knowledge capture of our DEI initiatives to ensure we are attaining our intended priorities and outcomes. As a result, you will have a unique line of sight into the happenings across our broader team as well as other national teams. This will help build our narrative over time so staff have a comprehensive understanding of where we’ve been and where we are heading. You will work closely with the Senior Managing Director, DEI strategy, and teammates to gather the necessary data to report and evaluate our overall plan and strategy. The ideal candidate will excel at building relationships and partnering with multiple stakeholders with competing priorities and the ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and strong communicator who can adapt to the needs of diverse stakeholders.

(40%) Propose and execute on knowledge management strategy for org-wide DEI plan initiatives
- Work in partnership with Director, DEI Accountability to prioritize reports and plan updates to various stakeholders
- Draft and design communication and resources to be user-centered, including written communications, graphic design, and video editing
- Support team to knowledge capture at key DEI engagements and meetings
- Identify and curate DEI plan website content by working collaboratively with DEI plan owners to have the updated content for staff to access supports and resources related to DEI plan
(30%) Develop and share relevant DEI resources with broader audiences
- Draft internal communications and execute on knowledge management strategies to strengthen communication to various audiences
- Propose and prepare quarterly and annual communications on org-wide DEI plan initiatives
(20%) Support implementation of Staff DEI Team strategies
- Support the operations and logistics (e.g., sending initial invites, building agendas, scheduling meetings, taking notes, updating project plans) of DEI related engagements to manage workflow effectively and communicate with partner teams
- Support the implementation key initiatives from Staff DEI Strategy team to include updating team blasts and various stakeholders
- Design and implement learning activities – in collaboration with Staff DEI Strategy team members, work with the team to scope and implement appropriate and effective knowledge capture and sharing activities
(10%) Participate in activities or engagements to further understand our Foundations which may include resource group participation (optional) and fulfill all selection commitment of future corps members
- Displays passion and professional and personal commitment to principles of equity, diversity, and inclusiveness
- Prior experience: Minimum 3 years of experience supporting teams
- Proven ability, via work history, to build and execute a project plan and organize, prioritize, track and manage workflow from multiple streams
