United States
Full-time

Teach for America’s grant management process has recently gone through a large shift, not only with the implementation of new financial software, but also with the decentralization of many grant oversight responsibilities.  This change has required the grants team to adjust from being a largely autonomous team operating behind the scenes, to having a highly visible and pro-active presence.  With this change the Grants and Contracts team is looking for a Director of Regional Grants Management to provide grants support for a portfolio of regions, ensuring compliance with all funder requirements, and monitoring spending towards all awards with the goal of maximizing spend.  In this role, you will be the primary Grants and Contracts contact for the Grant Managers and Development contacts for each of your Regions, as well as the fiscal contact for any of our funders and auditors.  You will be responsible for developing budgets for grant proposals, analyzing/ reporting on spend, advising and training Grant Managers on compliance and burn-rate, collaborating with Regions on strategies to draw down all funding, and delivering all fiscal reports and documents to our funders on time.  The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and personal skills, is a self-starter and multi-tasker, and can work well under deadlines.

  • (20%) Analyze existing data to develop budgets for grant applications that enable us to fully draw down all awards
  • (5%) Maintain accurate sponsor, grant and award data in Workday Financials
