Teach For America is seeking a Director, National Corporate Partnerships on the National Corporate Partnerships Team to strengthen, deepen, and expand our work with current corporate partners, ultimately ensuring a best-in-class experience with Teach For America. This position requires a customer service orientation, a deep sense of personal responsibility, excellent communication skills, strong strategic thinking, and a rigorous attention to detail.
The Director is responsible for supporting our corporate business development efforts to ensure that we meet our fundraising objectives, while helping to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and effectiveness. You will be responsible for creating and managing our prospect pipeline, drafting and designing a variety of high-quality donor communications, crafting strategic meeting prep materials, and managing data inputs/outputs to track progress to goal against our ambitious team goals.

You will report directly to our Managing Director, Business Development and will partner closely with the VP, National Corporate Partnerships as well as the broader National Corporate Partnerships Team, National Development Team, and other key internal stakeholders.
Support business development efforts (75%)
- Support the National Corporate Partnerships team charge to secure new corporate partners, including working closely with the MD, Business Development to create a strong prospect pipeline, including: identifying, qualifying, prioritizing, finding connections to, and creating strategies to move on new prospective partners. The Manager would be responsible for creating and maintain our prospect management strategy and system.
- Draft high-quality, strategic prospect/donor communications that meet cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship objectives. This could include (but would not be limited to): pitch decks, partnership proposals, formal grant applications, emails, letters, follow-up correspondence, program overviews, updates, acknowledgments, formal reports, and other materials as necessary.
- Provide strategic support for meeting preparation, including: monitoring and anticipating needs, coordinating with key internal stakeholders, drafting prep materials, and contributing to strategy.
- Build relationships with key internal stakeholders to develop Teach For America program knowledge. You will leverage that knowledge to understand alignment with corporate interests and effectively strategize prospect/donor communications and stewardship strategy.
- Collaborate with MD, Business Development to develop and maintain efficient system for identifying org-wide donor opportunities, including: producing a calendar of opportunities; tracking CEO and National Board travel; and proactively identifying opportunities for engagement on a donor-by-donor basis.
Data and pipeline management (15%)
- Ensure excellence in data quality and tracking in Salesforce (e.g. gift processing, donor data accuracy, etc)
- Assist in tracking of progress to goals for corporate revenue stream by managing and coordinating with data operations, revenue operations and finance as necessary.
- Collaborate with Development Operations team to develop reporting on donor information other measures of success.
Special projects (10%)
- Provide support to broader national corporate partnerships team projects as necessary.
- Minimum of 2-5 years professional work experience, preferably in a sales, business development, communications, marketing, or strategic partnerships role
- Experience in setting ambitious goals and achieving results
- Experience in or with the education sector a plus
- Experience in fundraising or corporate social responsibility a plus
