Teach For America seeks an Associate, Performance Analytics who will support the work of the Performance Analytics team on the larger Recruitment Team. Specifically, the Associate will ensure that information about thousands of prospective corps members is entered into TFACT, that that information is complete and accurate, that prospects are matched with the right recruiter and move smoothly through the recruitment process. The Associate will handle many day to day edits and enhancements to dashboards and standard reporting packages. The Associate will work closely with the other members of the Performance Analytics team to ensure that the RTAT has the information and data it needs to make strong, data-driven strategic decisions. The ideal candidate has a strong knowledge of Salesforce, strong analytical skills, desire to spend significant time building/editing reports, a keen attention to detail and an ability to build strong relationships with client teams.

Areas of Responsibility: 

An individual in this role will execute the following responsibilities:

  • Partner with members of Performance Analytics to improve and edit commonly used reports/dashboards and answer questions from members of the Recruitment Team. (20%)
  • Contribute to the Recruitment Team’s regular ongoing reporting efforts, as well as field ad hoc data and analysis requests as needed including but not limited to preparing weekly reports and executing data audits.  (20%)
  • Support the design of systems and policies to efficiently and accurately route prospective corps members to the right owner within Salesforce, execute the actual assignment of prospective corps members to recruiters on an ongoing basis, and adjust the assignment strategy as needed based on changes in the recruitment environment or strategy.  (20%)
  • Oversee the effort to import large amounts of prospective corps member information into Salesforce, including identifying ways to streamline the preparation of data prior to import, managing the efforts of temporary staff members and executing the imports (20%)
  • Assist our efforts to ensure strong data accuracy, including the designing reports to assess data accuracy, developing tools and strategies to streamline the amount of effort it takes for staff members to locate & correct inaccurate records, and developing instructions, guidance and tutorials related to data accuracy for managers to share with their teams  (10%)
  • Contribute to the overall operation of our Salesforce database by troubleshooting issues as they arise, addressing tickets filed by users using ServiceNow, etc. (10%)

  • Strong Excel and Salesforce skills required.  Business Object skills preferred.  
Educational Background: 
Bachelor's degree required
Skills/Experience: 
  • 1-2 years of professional experience preferred
  • Experience working with database programs and software required (e.g. Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Salesforce)
