Under the direction of the Vice President of Youth Development, the Senior Director of Early Education will administer all functions related to the Early Education team (Hutcherson Child Development Center, Play & Learn, Early Learning Readiness and future programming). There will be a direct focus on safety, recruitment, and retention of program participants, program development, staff development, customer service, communicating with property management staff regarding cleanliness and handling day to day issues that arise.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Responsible for budgeting, expense control, & income generation for departments
- Ensure growth in recruitment of participants in departments programs.
- Increase retention of departments programs.
- Recruit, develop and lead department staff.
- Recruit, develop, and retain volunteers in departments as well as fundraising.
- Communicate with Front Desk so members are aware of all programs & opportunities available to them.
- Assist with annual promotion plan for all programs including flyers, brochures, website, newsletter, news releases, advertisements, etc.
- Accurate and timely with all assignments, deadlines, etc.
- Responsible for all communication coming from departments to front desk
- Responsible for the continual evaluation of all programs, providing clear and understandable forms of data for funders, volunteers, parents, and others.
- Lead your For A Better Us Campaign for Early Education to meet individual campaign goal annually
Educational Background:
Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience
Skills/Experience:
- Minimum 2 years experience working in Early Education
- Experience developing and working with a budget
- Qualifications for DHS Director Certification
Compensation/Benefits:
Salary: $47,000.00 - $50,000.00
