To further the mission of the YMCA through providing office management services to the YMCA Camp Eberhart. Aids camp directors and other program heads in camp operations.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Provide service and information to customers in a manner that is responsive, accurate, and respectful.
  • Greet customers in a manner which creates an excellent impression of the YMCA.
  • Function in an administrative support role for camp team members.
  • Serve as a clearinghouse for accurate information flowing between camp team members, including written communications, telephone messages, and other assorted paperwork.
  • Direct and manage all communications which originate at camp, including direct mail, email, and marketing materials.
  • Maintain a record of payables and receivables, as back-up to accounting information managed by the corporation.
  • Monitor and maintain office equipment in good repair and coordinate necessary maintenance of equipment.
  • Coordinate the purchase of supplies needed to facilitate the work of team members.
  • Supervise office personnel, as directed, and assists staff with assigned tasks when needed to ensure their timely completion.
  • Complete projects and assignments as requested by the Camp’s Executive Director, and fill an administrative assistant role for that position.
  • Support Camp in other areas when needed to help Camp function at a high level.
  • Creates an environment where the Y Core Values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility are followed by all staff. 
  • Able to communicate to others how the YMCA supports kids, adults, and families in the community.
Skills/Experience: 
  • 3+ yrs. office management / or administration experience.
  • Requires 3 to 5 years of customer service related work experience.
  • Proficient knowledge in office administration, and in the ability to maintain high levels of accuracy in preparing, organizing and maintaining information.
  • Interpersonal skills, positive attitude, team building skills, excellent decision-making skills, and very effective organizational skills.  
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office and Google Systems.
Compensation/Benefits: 

Hourly: $11.94 - $14.92
