The Four Seasons YMCA is looking for a dynamic and energetic hands-on leader to grow membership and programs for students and the community.
The Four Seasons YMCA is seeking a Site Director for the Southwest Virginia Community College. Responsibilities include the overall operations of the fitness center, youth and adult programs and special events in accordance with the purpose and plan of our Strategic Plan.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Support the mission, vision and goals of the YMCA.
- Manage the day to day operations of the site, providing direct supervision of fitness, childwatch and program staff.
- Work closely with the Chief Executive Director and the Senior Staff to plan, promote and program a site that has unlimited potential to serve more people and allow our association to impact more lives.
- Represent the Y in the local community while developing positive working relationship with other organizations, businesses, and governmental entities.
- Oversse the hiring, training and supervision of staff.
- Develops and monitors the sites operations budget and meet or exceeds targets.
- Ensures the safety and maintenance of facilities and equipment.
- Evening and/or early morning, and/or weekend hours required periodically. Occasional travel required.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- YMCA experience preferred.
- Leadership and administrative experience in programming.
- Experience in supervising and training staff.
- Experience with the development and management of the budget.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with members, volunteers, and other leaders.
- Fund raising experience preferred.
- Physical Education, Sports and/or Aquatic background helpful.
