As the digital experience director with a focus on email marketing and content, you will be responsible for transitioning to automated email campaigns focused on member engagement and recruitment. This includes generating content, building email campaigns, creating and managing automated campaigns, using analytics to improve, and communicating ROI and impact with key stakeholders. You will serve on the marketing and communications team in service to the Y’s strategic priorities of member experience, program and summer experience, staff experience, and philanthropy.

- If hired for this position, you will translate marketing and communications priorities related to digital marketing, marketing technology, content creation and email management.
- You will implement the activities and tasks outlined in the comprehensive calendar to ensure our digital presence.
- You will continually improve email marketing platforms and work collaboratively with team members to keep content and user experiences fresh, engaging, and related to operations, programs, membership, campaigns, and messaging.
- You will manage content distribution to digital platforms to increase web traffic and support the development of an automated email marketing strategy focused on engaging consumers in the Y’s cause through membership, programs, employment, campaigns and messaging.
- You have two years of successful experience in multi-channel digital marketing, email marketing, analytics, and content development.
- You have a deep understanding of the intersection of media, marketing and technology.
- You have the proven ability to be an innovative, creative, proactive and self-directed team player who works in a fast-paced environment and meets deadlines.
- You have in-depth knowledge and effective use of major social media platforms, analytics, tag management, ad management, a variety of CMS, HTML, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
- You have experience in marketing planning, strategy and workflows, business process design, behavioral marketing, and data mining and analysis.
- You have excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills including the ability to compose content, write and edit compelling stories, and draft statements of work.
