As the associate executive director, you will monitor various program indicators and provide reports and other feedback to ensure successful branch operations and data-driven decision making. You will play a leadership role in the recruitment, development, and championing of a strong staff team. You will also participate as a key staff leader in the Annual Campaign by telling the Y story, by recruiting, leading and supervising volunteers and securing charitable donations.
This position should have a track record of leading staff and departments to achieve set goals.
- Five or more years of management experience, preferably in a YMCA or other nonprofit agency, with experience in volunteer development, supervision of staff, development and monitoring of branch budget, marketing and public relations, and program development.
- Knowledge and working understanding of all program areas.
- Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of
the community. - YMCA Multi-Team or Branch Leader certification preferred.
- Current Lifeguard, CPR for the Professional, AED First Aid and Oxygen certifications.
- Complete online Child Abuse Prevention training on first day. Complete other online and in-person training as required.
