Under the direction of the CEO, the Program Executive will be responsible for all program development and administration for the association. Leads the organization in achieving its mission, to promote Christian Principles by enriching the Spirit, Mind and Body of all those in our communities, especially families and children, regardless of the ability to pay.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Demonstrated experience in community relations, financial development, fiscal management, and staff development. 
  • Ability to attract, retain, lead, and motivate quality staff leadership.
  • Ability to direct total program operations through supervision of program directors, development and monitoring of program budgets, and program development.
  • Fosters a climate of innovation to develop programs which support the Y mission, goals, and strategies.
  • Responsible for Y sponsored community events.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of programs and trends. Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of and participation in programs and employ corrective strategies as needed.
  • Represents and promotes the YMCA in the local community and develops positive working relationships with other organizations, businesses, and governmental entities.
Educational Background: 
Bachelor's degree in human services, social services, recreation, business or equivalent.
Skills/Experience: 
  • Previous Experience supervising full time staff.
  • Four or more years of program management experience, preferably in a YMCA or other not-for-profit agency. 
  • Ability to direct programs through supervision of volunteers and staff, development and monitoring of budgets, marketing and public relations, program development and fundraising. 
  • Prefer knowledge of, and previous experience with, diverse populations.
  • Ability to establish and maintain collaborations with community organizations.
  • YMCA Team Leader or Multi-team/Branch Leader certification preferred.
  •  Bachelor's degree in human services, social services, recreation, business or equivalent.

Compensation/Benefits: 

Salary: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00
