The Greater Susquehanna Valley YMCA seeks an energetic, mission-driven, dynamic leader to join our team as Branch Executive Director of the Sunbury YMCA to run all operations with a focus on engaging, growing, and retaining a strong membership base. The Sunbury Branch has a budget size of $1.9 million dollars with 5 full time directors reporting to the Branch Executive Director. We are looking for an experienced leader with a strong ability to run all branch operations.
Areas of Responsibility:
- The Branch Executive Director is responsible for managing the branch in accordance with all the policies, procedures and standards set forth by the YMCA Board of Directors.
- The Director is responsible for maintenance and management of the facility with 3200 members, one pool, wellness center, gymnasium, group exercise room, cycling room, newly renovated locker rooms, youth center, gymnastics center, childcare center and playground. The director will follow best practices in all program areas including expanding current services and developing new program services, and will provide leadership with the YMCA Annual Campaign.
- The Director will be responsible for providing leadership and development for the Branch Board of Directors and Staff, and is expected to be a positive part of the community, working to develop key strategic and collaborative relationships.

- The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate positive history of staff development, board relations, membership growth and retention, fundraising, program development, budget skills, facility management and community involvement.
- Demonstrated understanding and support of the YMCA's mission.
- Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
Compensation/Benefits:
Salary: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00
