Responsible for coordinating all physical facility assets including the oversight of preventative maintenance planning, capital improvement and replacement projects, group purchasing, property development, as well as all related capital asset management.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Supervises and participates in the development and administration of facility services and construction project budgets and recommendations.
- Initiates and assists with all building and remodeling projects at all sites.
- Contacts and solicits bids from all independent contractors for repairs and capital improvements in conjunction with site property directors and executive directors.
- Works with site directors to establish short and long term capital replacement plans and matters related to risk and property management.
- Contributes feedback to ensure reasonable site budget allotments to maintain facilities.
- Develops, implements and evaluates programs and strategies designed to create and maintain safe, functional, secure, clean and orderly facilities to ensure efficient and economical operation.
- Supervises and participates in the development of RFPs, bids, contracts and proposals for construction and facilities related services.
- Coordinates strategic preventative maintenance needs.
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
Skills/Experience:
- 3 years progressive experience in overseeing facilities.
- Knowledge of facility management and/or auxiliary services principles and practices.
- Knowledge of construction rules and regulations for compliance
- Prefer knowledge of RFP and bidding process, contractual terms and conditions.
- Ability to negotiate terms of contracts.
- Project Management experience a plus.
Compensation/Benefits:
Salary: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00
