The Ozarks Regional YMCA is seeking a strong fundraising professional to develop, coordinate, and collaborate with branches on all development activities of the Ozarks Regional YMCA in alignment with the Y’s mission and core values.  The successful candidate will develop strong relationships with all stakeholders with successful results that increase capacity of the Y through increased funding (contributions, grants, and sponsorships) and through increased volunteer participation. 

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Plans, coordinates, and implements successful annual giving campaign
    • Provides training and leadership to staff/volunteer for success
    • Provides resources and builds a volunteer committee for community campaign efforts
    • Directly implement Board of Directors campaign
  • Increase Position of The Y as a cause-driven charitable organization (which includes a digital/electronic presence)
  • Accountable for established advancement metrics (i.e., increased donors, revenue, etc.)
  • Works closely with Association Marketing Dept. and Y-USA in development of collateral
  • Implements all phases of campaigns, inclusive of acknowledgement, stewardship, and thankfulness
  • Responsible in joint leadership of any future Capital campaigns as approved by the Board of Directors
  • Works with appropriate staff and volunteers in committee, special events, and other venues
  • Responsible for appropriate grants and facilitating grant application with branches:  evaluation of suitability and management
Educational Background: 
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required
Skills/Experience: 
  • Minimum of 2 years demonstrated professional experience with professional demeanor, exceptional written/verbal communication skills, and ability to work with a diverse group
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
  • Dedicated to the Ozarks Regional YMCA and its Core Values; Deliberate in reaching outlined goals
  • Fundraising database experience a plus; prefer knowledge of Raiser Edge (or equivalent) software
Compensation/Benefits: 

 

Salary: $48,000.00 - $52,000.00
