To further the mission of the YMCA through promoting the safety of our members, participants and staff by ensuring that the facility and the grounds are clean and in working order.
Areas of Responsibility:
- 3 or more years of experience in the following areas: human relations and supervision for hiring, training, and scheduling of staff, budget development, facility and site management, maintenance, construction, and land-management.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry and boiler systems, if appropriate for area of oversight.
- Experience working in areas of engineering, painting, carpentry, electrical wiring and controls, plumbing, water and sewage treatment, vehicle and machinery operation, including maintenance.
- Proficiency and experience in the safe and proper use of power equipment and tools, heavy and light machinery, and building materials.
Educational Background:
BS degree and/or trade and vocational training, preferred.
Skills/Experience:
- Proficiency in the safe and proper use of power equipment and tools, heavy and light machinery, and building materials.
- Skills in supervision, budget management and project management.
- Current license to drive with records that meet YMCA standards.
- Understands the mission of the YMCA.
Compensation/Benefits:
Salary: $41,762.00 - $44,960.00
