Saratoga Regional YMCA is a mid-major YMCA, five branches and over 26,000 members. This new Malta Branch will be opening in late May and replaces two nearby leased locations (fitness & child care). The ideal incumbent should have a strong Health & Wellness background with preferably some childcare experience as well as managing an operating budget over $1.0 million. Our new Executive Director must have strong fiscal management skills, paired with a conservative financial philosophy. A demonstrated ability to actively seek out new and innovative ideas to continue developing relationships with our community leaders and non-profits is essential. Our Executive Director will be expected to take a hands-on approach by having a prominent branch presence while leading our daily operations overseeing both membership/fitness as well as a child care director in a joint facility we will share with Saratoga Hospital.
Under the general supervision of the Chief Operating Officer, the Executive Director oversees the daily operations and advancement of the full branch. Which includes membership, childcare center, youth programs, Health & Wellness, property management, staff and volunteer development, fundraising, community relations, and collaborations/partnerships.
