IP is seeking to hire our first full time revenue professional to develop and steward corporate, individual, and foundation relationships.   

This individual will build a team and identify new opportunities to grow portfolio engagement across all revenue channels, including corporate partnerships, special events and individual giving. A successful candidate will manage and steward a portfolio of corporate, foundation, and individual relationships and work as a team player to achieve our mission and revenue goals. This position is accountable for significant revenue targets. 

Areas of Responsibility: 

General Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute fundraising strategies to raise $250,000–$500,000 annually from corporations, foundations and individual donors; grow additional avenues of revenue

  • Lead development activities, ensure that Board members and lP leaders engage in development activities.  

  • Cultivate and maintain a portfolio of relationships to provide funding for our mission (program sponsorship, events, grants, donations and other partnerships)

  • Lead annual appeal and event planning to engage individual donors

  • Develop revenue projections and financial analyses with executive leadership

  • Oversee stewardship activities; ensure a high-touch response to partners and donors

  • Engage volunteers; create Junior Board

  • Deliver a high level of customer service to all constituents

  • Demonstrate integrity, collaboration and stewardship

  • Perform other duties as periodically assigned

Educational Background: 
Skills/Experience: 
  • Bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years of nonprofit fundraising experience

  • Established success in fundraising and nonprofit leadership

  • Proven track record of success in account management and developing corporate partnerships that result in exceeding revenue targets

  • Outcome-driven, with the ability to respond to changing circumstances and priorities

  • Excellent oral and written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
