The Marketing Manager will support the Director of Marketing and the Marketing team to execute the FMD pilot campaign. S/he oversee all aspects of FMD campaign to ensure all components are coordinated, implemented against strategy and are on time and on budget. The position will run the coordination of mini-promotions of media stories, reactive announcements and focus on creating an enabling environment that allows each of the functional leads: events, editorial, media, strategic communication and technology to deliver their components. S/he works closely with various constituents including senior staff, marketing and philanthropy colleagues and other key stakeholders drive the creation of detailed business processes for donor communication, finance, reporting, events that support marketing and philanthropy goals.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Manage and serve as team lead on assigned projects.
  • Manage team cohesion and vendors. 
  • Develop and update campaign calendar, ensure projects are completed.
  • Ensure a regular flow of information about the campaign occurs within team and key stakeholders.
  • Make independent decisions at times based on analysis, experience, and judgment.
  • Assess gaps and obstacles to recommend and implement plans to solve
  • Manage assigned budget, evaluate results and develop recommendations for corrective strategies as needed. 
  • Responsibility and accountability for meeting campaign goals and objectives in coordination with Director of Marketing and other key team members.
  • Resolves complex issues independently within program area.
  • Opportunity to act independently within program goals.
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s degree in related field and a minimum 7 years’ related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills/Experience: 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience managing client and account relationships. 
  • Experience implementing, and managing multiple complex projects.
  • Experience negotiating agreements.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Multi-lingual skills appreciated.
  • Multi-cultural or cross-cultural experience preferred.
  • Strong project management and marketing campaign management.
  • Experience leading in a team-based environment with internal and/or external partners.
  • Experience applying marketing principles on projects/programs.
  • Experience managing a budget.
  • Practical knowledge of current and evolving trends related to marketing.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to articulate ideas in a compelling manner.
  • Detailed knowledge of procedures and terms in marketing.
