As Program Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in the TFA- San Diego team. You will create and execute on operational systems to support the onboarding, professional development, and instructional and leadership coaching and development of our corps members and alumni. You will also coordinate the matriculation and onboarding of our incoming corps members.
You build and shape corps and staff culture in the region. You are a natural self-starter, have a strong work ethic, and are a problem solver. You are a “jack of all trades” and excited by challenges. You are able to stay calm and adapt quickly in a frequently changing environment. You are able to manage multiple projects involving many different stakeholders. You will report to the Director of Program.
Matriculation and Onboarding (35%)
Support Director, Program in designing and executing onboarding plan:
- Manage and develop ICM corps culture and leadership development through various touch points and outreach efforts
- Coordinate onboarding webinars (leadership development, community-building, action item/requirements) and design webinar schedule; manage tech
- Work with Director, Program to develop strategies to ensure matriculation goals are met.
- Maintain an Incoming Corps Member (ICM) Google site and compose other onboarding communications that are accurate, clean, and consistent
- Track action items to ensure ICMs are on the path to certification, test passage, and meeting other program requirements.
- Coordinate logistics for virtual and in-person ICM events
- Own regional confirmation windows; ensure region meets confirmation goals and admitted applicants receive necessary information and support in order to confirm their offers
- Coordinate special processes: Assignment smoothing, regional reassignments, transfers
Operational Support (30%)
- Support Program team in the collection, input and analysis of surveys, data, and other required information as needed
- In partnership with Program team, develop and maintain the system for monitoring and executing credit-based programming
- Work with CMAC (Corps Member Advisory Council) to provide logistical support
- Work with Program team to manage logistics for required corps member events such as Professional Development Days, Orientation, and Alumni Induction
- Input updates related to CM status in corresponding systems and records
- Plan and draft communications for corps member and alumni events and other special projects. Build new engagement strategies for corps members and alumni.
- Serve as logistics lead for Induction (new corps member orientation) and all corps member/alumni events and trainings
Alumni Support 35%
- Support Director, Program in designing and executing an alumni engagement and leadership development plan
- Work with Program team to develop and maintain the system for monitoring and executing on the Alumni Leadership Fellowship. Provide logistical and communications support to alumni leadership fellows
- Work with the Alumni Council to provide logistical support and create systems in alignment with the regional vision
- Coordinate the planning and execution of the annual Alumni Survey to ensure regional goals for alumni engagement are met
- Build and maintain systems to support alumni, CM and MTLD interactions

Work demands
- Occasional local travel, manage inventory, transport up to 50 pounds and stock shelves, live transcription required, evening and weekend work required to support events
