The Business Manager is essential to our Y's leadership team and helps to ensure that we deliver our cause; improving lives and strengthening community. The Business Manager ensures accurate, quality day-to-day business operations and leads HR, payroll, and IT functions. Also provides support to our Y Annual Campaign.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Fiscal management including cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, recording, and reporting.
  • Provide leadership to ensure effective administration of payroll.
  • Manage accounts payable and recievable systems.
  • Provide leadership to systems for Welcome Desk and  Cafe operations.
  • Coordinate contracted vendor support for IT and other office support functions.
  • Lead and supervise Accounting Assistant and related functions.
  • Assist in the Y Annual Campaign as directed by the President and CEO.
Skills/Experience: 
  • Requires an accounting degree and at least 3-years of related experience.
  • Proficiencies with Microsoft Office and ability to learn software applications including ADP, CenterPoint, and Daxko systems.
  • Thorough understanding of accounting principles and practices as they relate to YMCA business functions.
  • Competencies in human resource management specific to hiring, payroll, and benefits administration.
  • Competency in all GAAP and auditing processes and the collection, recording, reporting, and disbursement of funds.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate with people across all demographics.
Compensation/Benefits: 

Salary: $46,000.00 - $54,000.00
