AIM at Melanoma
Steps Against Melanoma Walk Coordination Manager

Founded in 2004, AIM at Melanoma is a global foundation dedicated to finding more effective treatments and, ultimately, the cure for melanoma. AIM’s goal is to end this disease in our lifetime while improving the lives of those it affects.

Our Walk & Fun Run program—Steps Against Melanoma—serves as an important vehicle for both melanoma education/awareness and fundraising. Currently numbering 20+ per year, the Walks & Fun Runs are led by volunteer coordinators in local venues and are structured so that participants can form teams and raise funds for AIM in honor or memory of someone who has suffered from the disease. The funds raised through Steps Against Melanoma go to AIM’s research programs and are therefore a critical part of AIM’s overall budget.
