LLS Talent Development is seeking a Project Assistant. This position provides administrative support for the Talent Development Team and the respective assigned projects. This role provides general administrative support, filing and project task management to support a department in the HR division that focuses on employee learning and the advancement of skills and knowledge of LLS employees and volunteers.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Schedule appointments and meetings for the team as necessary.
  • Create, organize and maintain project filing system. Keep project files up to date on a daily basis.
  • Participate in projects and make recommendations as needed to ensure successful completion.
  • Assist in ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Assist in the completion of timely and accurate weekly reports.
  • Support the development of detailed project plans to monitor and track progress.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of comprehensive project documentation.
  • Follow up on inquiries regarding project initiative.
  • Assist other HR staff when needed and as appropriate.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Educational Background: 
Bachelor's degree in HR, Marketing, Communication or related area or equivalent experience highly preferred.
Skills/Experience: 
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Word, Excel, Box, & Outlook.
  • Ability to work with and maintain confidential information.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable using and learning new technology.
  • Strong work ethic, able to work independently with desire to learn and improve, and ability to manage time and complete assigned projects.
  • Promotes teamwork and collaboration within the department and externally by positive, cooperative attitude with willingness to take on additional duties as directed.
  • Experience working in an office setting.
