Patient Access Data Entry Coordinator, Patient Education

The Data Coordinator will perform ongoing data entry for the Patient Access (PA)- Patient Education National Programs. 

Reports to:Senior Manager, Quality Improvement and Data Management. This is a temporary position staffed by TargetCW, 35 hours per week. The assignment will not exceed June 30, 2019.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Evaluate data quality and perform data-cleaning operations; validate the data used in reporting.  Aid large scale data cleanup efforts.
  • Review and document data quality indicators (e.g. % missing diagnosis, diagnosis date, race/ethnicity).
  • Identify duplicate accounts and contacts and merge them.
  • Cleanup Organizational accounts (hospitals, academic centers, healthcare institutions).
  • Review data after program attendee uploads (e.g. eTouches program data) to ensure no new duplicate contacts were created and contacts were put under correct account.
  • Move Healthcare Professionals in household accounts to correct organizational accounts.
  • Aid in data corruption cleanup on fields that require manual review.
  • Process returned mailings to indicate addresses that were undeliverable, and to update to correct address where applicable.

Data entry:

  • Enter data for processes that are not automated (e.g. National office program attendees, National Change of Address updates to addresses).
  • Process and data enter IRC Fax Referral forms and LLS material orders (GLI).
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.   
Skills/Experience: 
  • Experience with data platforms, entering and review data.
  • Salesforce experience highly preferred
  • Strong ability to review data in detailed fashion.
  • Excellent ability to communicate issues.
  • Excellent ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of Constituent Relationship Management Systems and Microsoft Office required.
