The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) currently uses Salesforce as the CRM for the Patient Access and Advancement teams. We want a technologist with a passion for excellence who thrives in a fast-paced, high energy environment. As a member of the IT team, you will be responsible for end-to-end integrations between cloud-based and on premise systems using Mulesoft. You will support existing integrations and be responsible for gathering technical requirements, building solutions, testing, training, support, and overall improvement of the Mulesoft platform. To accomplish this, you will partner closely with IT, Patient Access and the Advancement Teams to understand process needs and provide automated solutions. This position is ideally suited for a certified Mulesoft Developer who will work with our internal Salesforce team, as well as partner with vendors and Salesforce.org as needed. This position will ensure that end-user solutions are fully tested, of high quality, and in accordance with LLS business requirements prior to delivery.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Architect and build Mulesoft Integrations, both real-time and asynchronous
  • Architect and maintain API endpoints for internal and partner cloud systems
  • 3+ years of Mulesoft architecture and full life cycle implementation experience from requirements gathering/analysis to Go-Live and Post-production support
  • Expert in using REST and SOAP APIs
  • Expert in Architecting and building Mulesoft Integrations and APIs
  • Experience integrating a portfolio of SAAS applications
  • Knowledgeable of securing data; understands SSH, OAuth, HTTPS, SFTP
  • Experience with relational databases and good SQL knowledge
  • Experience using Anypoint Platform – API Manager, Runtime Manager, Exchange etc.
  • Experience with Github version control
  • Work with BAs, product owners, and IT
  • Knowledge of Agile development practices, particularly scrum and sprint-based delivery
  • A deep understanding of multiple environments, patterns and languages, especially JSON, XML, HTML, Java, Python, Ruby, Node and SQL
  • Technical writing and documentation experience a plus
  • Ability to solve complex problems and develop innovative solutions related to the platforms utilized by the business segments supported
  • Adapt to departmental plans and priorities to address business and operational challenges
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related field of study; or equivalent education, training and experience
Skills/Experience: 
  • MuleSoft developer certification is a plus
  • Integration experience with Salesforce
  • Experience working for a non-profit is a plus

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

  • Must be able and willing to assume occasional on-call assignments related to off-hours system rollout work
