The Executive Assistant to the Chief Financial Officer effectively provides administrative support in the management of the day-to-day operations of the Office of the CFO.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Completes a broad variety of tasks for the Chief Financial Officer including: managing calendar of appointments, managing departmental calendar, completing expense reports, composing and preparing correspondence, arranging travel plans, itineraries, and agendas, and compiling documents for travel related meetings
  • Assist with the preparation of presentations and reports
  • Upload documents for board and committee meetings in Board Books
  • Ensure that the executives are provided with timely, accurate information and documentation for meetings and presentations
  • Prepare communications, emails, letters, and memoranda as needed
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the Office of the Chief Financial Officer
  • Researches, prioritizes, and follows up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the CFO, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature.
  • Manages special interdepartmental projects as assigned by the CFO
  • Program administrator of LLS Corporate Card program.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the LLS mission and programs to promote the field and campaign fundraising initiatives.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s degree
Skills/Experience: 
  • 5-7 years of executive-level administrative experience supporting C-Level Executives
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.
  • Excellent organization skills and the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, board members, external partners, vendors and donors.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point) and Social Media
  • Experience with Coupa, Concur, WebEx, Box highly preferred
