An enthusiastic professional with a detailed knowledge of and passion for the Team In Training (TNT) campaign that is able to manage localized corporate and community team recruitment strategies, improve recruitment communication and effectively execute tasks to enhance team recruitment efforts within each market. Internal-facing support to Campaign Managers, Directors and Volunteer Leadership Teams. Level role is commensurate with experience and area of responsibility.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Centralize team-focused recruitment related responsibilities from the field to allow Field Staff (Campaign Managers and Directors) to focus on fundraising, prospecting and pipeline development.
- Facilitate bi-annual strategic planning calls with assigned chapter staff and key volunteer leaders to review team pipeline and establish recruitment action plan goals, initiatives and budget.
- Implement chapter recruitment action plan to drive community & corporate team registration.
- Establish regular communication touch points between planning calls to make plan adjustments and ensure alignment with recruitment efforts in the field.
- Track results, cost and ROI of all chapter initiatives and make adjustments accordingly.
- Partner with Team In Training and Light The Night Corporate Development Directors to ensure team recruitment and relationship expectations are met at targeted companies.
- Manage chapter recruitment budget and forecast.
- Utilize graphic design skills to create and customize recruitment and registration materials.
- Assist in promoting in-market events that drive team and top fundraiser recruitment
- Manage chapter social media channels, email plan and quarterly newsletter.
- Assist in data entry, management and reporting for recruitment and cultivation purposes.
- Provide back end financial support in the way of invoice processing, coding, reimbursements, charges and funds allocation for any marketing related purchases.
- Coordinate paid and grassroots advertising as outlined in the recruitment action plans.
- Manage Team In Training event information on chapter Drupal calendars.
- Respond to marketing specific requests from the field to maximize opportunities for recruitment and cultivation.
- Maintain a working knowledge of the LLS mission, its programs as well as branding and communication best practices.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s Degree
Skills/Experience:
- 1–3 years’ experience with Campaign Marketing & Recruitment
- Strong people skills with a focus on internal customer service, communication and teamwork
- Excellent time management, emphasizing service excellence and adherence to prescribed processes.
- Must have excellent verbal, written, and communication skills
- Strong word processing, database management, and computer skills (Microsoft Office) with ability to collect and organize data effectively
- Be a self-starter, problem-solver and manage assignments independently with little supervision
- Ability to work effectively within a highly productive and diverse team setting. Must be persistent, organized, and possess the ability to manage multiple priorities to meet critical deadlines
- Identifies marketing and media trends, both general and within the charity endurance space
- Team player dedicated to ensuring that the campaign is projecting a professional, cohesive and collaborative image at all times
- Familiarity working within strict branding guidelines
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, Facebook Business Manager, Email Content Managers and Canva is highly preferred
- Knowledge of Team In Training and the mission of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is a plus
