The Talent Development Specialist & System Administrator plays a key role in the delivery and support of the Talent Development system environment which includes the Cornerstone LMS, Performance Management, Compensation, and Succession Planning modules. This position is responsible for on-going support, overseeing testing and installation activities for all system updates, service pack/patch upgrades, building blocks, and other software integrated with the Cornerstone suite. These responsibilities are conducted in collaboration and partnership with internal and external teams including, but not limited to, Information Technology (OCIT), HR, and vendor solution providers to establish standards, policies/procedures, and strategic plans for use and expansion of the Talent Development environment and its integrated products/processes. This position also plays a role in developing and delivering learning initiatives.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Build knowledge of the Talent Development Suite and all updates to ensure full utilization of all components that enhance the delivery of talent development throughout LLS.
  • Maintain the Talent Development Suite, including uploading and organizing content to meet established criteria.
  • Provide support to users in troubleshooting and training on system capabilities, navigation and functionality.
  • Work with Talent Development vendor solution providers and Information Technology (OCIT) to research and resolve any system/technical issues; including user-reported issues.
  • Facilitate integration between the Talent Development Suite and other tools and resources.
  • Develop and document guidelines and processes to ensure published content is accurate and current, with appropriate workflows and approvals.
  • Manage day to day operations ensuring full functionality of the Talent Development Suite for all users.
  • Partner with Talent Development colleagues, HR and Information Technology (OCIT) to create a valuable library of reusable usage reports.
  • Perform routine systems maintenance and configuration administration. Assist in the design, review, testing and implementation of Talent Development Suite updates and enhancements.
  • Maintain Talent Development Suite environments (Pilot, Stage and Production), including access and coordination of internal stakeholders and establishment of environment standards.
  • Manage permissions, systems preferences, licenses and software updates.
  • Analyze and recommend solutions to utilize the Talent Development Suite to deliver, track and measure training/performance to meet organizational objectives.
  • Load multimedia and e-learning e.g. Captivate, Inkling, Skillsoft, LinkedIn/Lynda.com, etc. to the Talent Development LMS Module.
  • Support the Talent Development team and its internal clients to deliver learning that adheres to sound instructional design principles.
  • Manage learning initiatives as assigned.
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s Degree required, or equivalent experience
Skills/Experience: 

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Knowledge of mobile learning solutions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
  • Aptitude to do computer work on a daily basis, minimum of 5-6 hours per day
  • Minimum two years’ experience with Talent Development/LMS administration, Cornerstone preferred
  • Experience with loading multimedia and e-learning training like Captivate, Inkling, Captivate, Inkling, Skillsoft, LinkedIn/Lynda.com, etc. to the Talent Development LMS Module.
  • Basic knowledge of E-learning design software (including Camtasia, Captivate or Articulate Storyline)

 Position Requirements: 

  • Requires prior knowledge of principles and practices of human resources.
  • Prior experience with a Talent Development system preferred.
  • Requires effective verbal and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Maintains high degree of confidentiality.
