The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) currently uses Salesforce as the CRM for the Patient Access team, which is responsible for the direct delivery of Mission-related services to patients. The Salesforce implementation for Mission is in the process of being reengineered to better suit and provide further automation for the evolving business needs of the Patient Access team. The Patient Access implementation will consist of several integrations with external data repositories such as the LLS Copay system, InContact, IBM Marketing Cloud, and Epsilon. Once the work on the Patient Access implementation is complete, the Client Service Group (CSG) for Mission and Donor Development will begin implementing Salesforce for Donor Dev, which currently uses a proprietary system (M360) and other tools for tracking interactions with Donors. In order to better support our growing Salesforce needs, LLS is looking for an experienced Salesforce.com Developer to drive automation of processes and manage the integrations to our various business systems for our Salesforce.com (SFDC) environment. This includes technical design/development, configuration, maintenance, and integration with other systems. This in-house developer will be a hands-on certified Salesforce Developer who will work with our internal Salesforce team, as well as partner with vendors and Salesforce.com as needed, to ensure that the code and end-user experience is fully tested, high quality, and in accordance with LLS business requirements prior to delivery.
- Work effectively individually as well as with project team and client resources to achieve customer satisfaction and success.
- Design and develop customer solutions in VisualForce, Apex, Lightning, Lightning UI, D/HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other technologies. Technical code achieves passing rating during regular review.
- Build integration jobs based on instructions and pre-established guidelines from a Technical Architect using existing tools available
- Facilitate code sharing and control by regularly submitting code to concurrent version system repository.
- Excellent understanding of object-oriented concepts and design patterns, as well as prior work with OO languages (Java, Ruby, C#, C++, etc)
- Experience with and knowledge of relational databases, including work with MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, or other common RDBMS
- Knows to how to deploy Metadata into different environments
- Translate functional requirements into technical solutions in accordance with SFDC best practices
- Develop high quality, efficient and sustainable code.
- Responsible for regularly using code scanner tool and fix any issues as result of the scan
- Have in depth knowledge and experience in source control and continuous integration
- Experienced in Salesforce Console Integration Toolkit.
- Must have skills in Apex for Web Services and SOAP/REST API
- Salesforce Certified Developer 501
- Familiar with Outbound Message
- Knows to how to implement SSO by leveraging Okta in salesforce
- Professional experience in a test-driven and formal QA development environment, including deployment of metadata to multiple environments (development/staging/production deployment cycle)
- Knowledge of Agile development practices, particularly scrum and sprint based delivery
- 4+ years’ experience with VisualForce and Apex Development
- Experience in Lightning UI and Lightning development
- Must have skills in Apex for Web Services and SOAP/REST API
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer (I and II Preferred)\
- Must be able and willing to assume occasional on-call assignments related to off-hours system rollout work.
- Occasional travel to Chapters and events.
