The Director of Digital Marketing is responsible for driving the strategic development and tactical Brand execution of LLS online content programs, creating digital media campaigns, promotional plans and Social media. This position oversees all aspects of User Interface and User Experience and will translate user and business requirements into functional enhancements that deliver a best-in-class user experience on LLS websites and social media pages. Drive consistency and brand through all digital channels.
- Oversee all aspects of digital strategy and execution, including content and creative development, online and mobile media, promotional planning and execution, site merchandising and enhancements.
- Collaborate with key internal and external constituencies to plan and execute an engaging and relevant online content strategy which clearly supports and communicates LLS success stories, mission activities, and campaign priorities.
- Lead internal and external resources in development of efficient and effective digital media programs that build website traffic, Support lead generation and online donation through a diversified mix including SEM/SEO, Display, Email, Social, and Mobile channels.
- Assess current online communication needs and identify opportunities to strengthen digital marketing activities. User experience and brand identity online.
- Support through design and UX the new website development.
- Investigate, test and evaluate emerging media, content technologies and enhancements that can increase traffic, engagement and donation conversion.
- Provide strategic thought leadership for social media programs and platforms that activate and grow the LLS social community
- Establish scorecard metrics and dashboards that consistently monitor key digital marketing metrics and identify areas of opportunity
- Manage workflow and supervise, train and develop a tea.
- Manage creative digital and social agencies
- Maintain a working knowledge of the LLS mission and programs to promote the field and campaign fundraising initiatives.
Experience Requirements:
- 6 - 8 years progressive digital marketing experience; ecommerce experience a plus
Position Requirements:
- Keen understanding of content merchandising with proven ability to plan and execute engaging digital content strategies
- Deep knowledge of digital media channels, engagement strategies, social media platforms and emerging trends
- Experience with planning, executing and evaluating successful digital branding campaigns for major consumer-facing Brands
- Demonstrated ability to "connect the dots" and synthesize complex inputs into quick action plans that exceed business objectives
- Experience with managing and leading high performing digital teams
- Persuasive communicator, able to work with and through cross-functional teams to drive the LLS digital agenda
