The YMCA of Greater Williamson County is seeking a passionate, community minded individual to join our training team!

We are a $27 million Association focusing on mission-driven, not-for-profit services with a vision of building strong kids, strong families and strong communities throughout Williamson & Burnet Counties. Our organization is home to the largest school-age childcare provider in Williamson County as well as health and fitness programs that improve the quality of life in over 45,000 members ranging from preschool through senior citizens. The Association currently encompasses 4 facility branches, a centralized Child Care Department, a Regional Day Camp, Residence Camp, a Metropolitan Services office, and over 125 program sites committed to meeting the needs of our diverse population. The YMCA of Greater Williamson County Licensed Childcare Department has an annual budget of over $10 million and serves approximately 5,000 children per day in 60+ school-based sites throughout 5 school districts and continues to be one of the fastest-growing counties in the country. **The full-time Training Manager conducts various training programs for the Licensed Child Care Department and the branches. Ensures licensing compliance and onboarding for LCC new hires. Coordinates, administers and tracks trainings. Willing to get certified as Lifeguard Instructor and assist with various Association trainings as needed.

**Success in this position requires the ability to teach, motivate, lead and build relationships. Must be a team player and willing to work hands-on in the department. This fast-paced, high-energy department requires someone who is highly motivated, organized, personable and enthusiastic. Successful candidate must be able to think in new and innovative ways to reach our goals, and possess a special desire and ability to reach out to the community.

Educational Background: 
A 4 year college degree is preferred;
Skills/Experience: 
  • At least 4 years working in a YMCA environment preferred;
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written;
  • Comfortable speaking in front of large groups;
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills; word, excel, PowerPoint;
  • Organized with strong administrative skills;
  • Excellent relationship-building skills;
  • Able to meet deadlines;
  • Bilingual English/Spanish would be a plus;
  • Must have valid Texas Driver license and necessary liability insurance;
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen, criminal history check and sex offender registry check.
Compensation/Benefits: 

Salary: $37,500-$40,000 DOE
