The CHASCO Family YMCA is now hiring a Membership Operations Director.  This position requires the in depth knowledge of Membership Service, Accounts Receivable Billing, Financial Assistance Applications and Contracts, Cash Handling Policies, Program Setup, Supervision and Training of a Members Service Desk, Processing Backdrafts, Balancing End of Days, Refunds, Senior Programs and more.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Manage Front Desk operations
  • Manage Business Office operations
  • Manage Membership operations
  • Responsible for outside Corporate sales and growth of membership
  • Supervise and promote Seniors Programs Social Events & Activities
  • Provide excellent Customer Service
  • Process Expense Reports and Reimbursements
  • Process Payroll / Vacation Reports, assist with Job Descriptions, process New Hire paperwork
  • Ensure timely processing of Financial Assistance Applications
  • Participate as a Core Department team member
  • Actively promote and operate programs within the guidelines established by the Core Department group
  • “Hands on” programming alongside staff and at Association and Fundraising events
  • Participate as directed by Branch Executive as a key Staff Liaison to the Annual Campaign
  • Act as Director on Duty, as directed by Branch Executive, performing all duties as required
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred
Skills/Experience: 
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Management role;
  • Experience in Membership Services or Account Specialist position a plus
  • Good Verbal and written communication skills required
  • Demonstrated experience handling Accounts Receivable Billing and Contracts
  • Registration and Cash Handling experience
  • Ability to analyze reports and write correspondences
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Compensation/Benefits: 

Salary: $48,785.00 - $54,535.00
