The YMCA of Greater Williamson County is seeking a District Executive Director of Y Afterschool to oversee a large portion of our current school based Y afterschool programs along with the Afterschool departments’ summer camps and training.

The ideal candidate will directly ensure that the school districts that fall under their responsibility are being provided with a quality program that is meeting their student’s needs.  The candidate will work in cooperation with the Vice President of Youth Development to ensure that quality is being delivered and the districts are being properly communicated with to ensure needs are being met.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Oversee the day to day supervision and professional development of 5-6 exempt staff and 50+ hourly staff.
  • Oversee the coordination of all communication to all relevant school districts ensuring that district personnel are aware of Y programming and ensure that what the districts deem “quality” is being delivered.
  • Provide direct hands on leadership of Y Afterschool training for both school year staff and summer camp staff.
  • Work in a positive team oriented way to ensure that the YMCA mission is being delivered to the community through all YMCA programs, including sports and fitness.
  • Assist with all Association special events.
Educational Background: 
Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent education and experience preferred.
Skills/Experience: 
  • Three or more years of Child Care management experience, preferably in a YMCA or other nonprofit agency with multiple child care locations.
  • Proven ability to direct and lead professional staff teams in multiple locations.
Compensation/Benefits: 

Salary: $67,239.00 - $75,000.00
