The YMCA of Greater Williamson County is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to serve as a member of the   Financial Development team.  The Association’s Special Events Director will welcome a variety of challenges while working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.  

The successful candidate will plan, develop and coordinate several special events throughout the year.   Event planning will include promotion, recognition, recruiting donors, and meeting Fund Raising goals.  This role will work closely with the Financial Development team and Marketing and Communication team to meet our mission driven goals.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Plan, develop and coordinate special events
  • Supervise Part-Time Special Events Coordinator
  • Manage Event Planning budget
Educational Background: 
Degree in communication, marketing, hospitality management or like degree preferred
Skills/Experience: 
  • Strong organizational and communications skills
  • Established relationships in the Greater Williamson County community preferred
  • 2+ years relevant experience required.  A bachelor’s degree preferred.  This position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team.  The candidate will be able to effectively multi-task as well as demonstrate strong written/verbal communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.  Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, sex offender and criminal history background check.
Compensation/Benefits: 

Salary:  $51,660 – $60,500, DOE
