The YMCA of Strafford County in Rochester, NH is currently seeking a friendly, dynamic professional to oversee the day to day operations and personnel at the Welcome Center, as part of an overall strategy to retain and grow branch membership. 

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Hire, train, schedule and supervise Welcome Center and Kids Zone staff
  • Electronic data processing related to serving and tracking new and existing members
  • Serve as a Welcome Center Associate 12 -15 hours per week
  • Initiate and manage the Granite Y's member retention initiative, maintaining contact with new members in their first 60 days
  • Cultivate external community relationships to promote the YMCA as a community leader
  • Initiate Work at Wellness off-site opportunities and solidify such group memberships
  • Represent the YMCA of Strafford County at monthly Quality Circle meetings
  • Lead monthly staff meetings, teaching and coaching staff in member acquisition and retention strategies 
  • Coordinating special projects and initiatives such as Member Appreciation Days and incentive programs
Skills/Experience: 
  • Strong customer service, communication and administrative skills are a must to have success in this salaried position.
Compensation/Benefits: 

Salary: $37,000.00 - $42,000.00
